Why did you choose Browstress?
Not only is Krystal the best in the business, she's extremely detail-oriented and delivers the best experience before, during and after service. Her aesthetic aspirations and exquisite taste - that you can see and feel as soon as you enter the studio and go through her references - made it a no brainer.
Why do you continue to come back?
Because my brows never looked better :) Also, I always had a great time everytime I stopped by.
How do you define beauty?
Something that moves you and pushes you forward. Being comfortable in your own skin.
How do you define your personal beauty?
I'm still figuring it out. Currently working on embracing my flaws and loving me for who I am. In the era of Instagram filters that's quite hard to do, but I feel like it's a necessary movement, for everyone.
What keeps you connected to yourself?
All things self-care related: meditating, reading a good book, discovering a new tune, having a nice dinner or a day spa at home.
What new found power are you currently stepping into?
Self-confidence. It's crazy! When you regain confidence and stay in your power no matter the circumstances, everything around you shifts for the better.
How do you wish to see your community evolve?
Speaking about the fashion and advertising industry in particular, I'd like to see more power and influence on the hands of those (people & brands) who actually influence their community for the better, not only online, but in practical terms in the real world. As much as I love social media, real influence should transcend the boundaries of our phones and take the streets, in a meaningful way. Specially nowadays.
What's next for your journey?
Launching my own clothing line :)
